Daily singles love (by Astrology.com)
Today's your day for romance! Whether you ask or get asked to the dance, there will definitely be some kind of movement for two happening. So polish your tap shoes, already! -

Weekly romance (by Astrology.com)
Sweet little notions translate easily into action on Monday -- go ahead and ask that cutie out or slip a love note into your honey's lunch. Ignore the gossip and chatter on Tuesday and Wednesday, choosing instead to organize your nest and your head (cobwebs out, freshness in). Thursday, Friday and Saturday are made for romance (lucky you!). Birds are singing, bees are buzzing and your heart's going pitter-pat, whether you're coupled-up or developing a new crush every five minutes. Cultivate some deep-soul awareness on Sunday, and you'll be rewarded with a heartening insight.

"All your life you are told the things you cannot do. All your life
they will say you're not good enough or strong enough or talented
enough; they will say you're the wrong height or the wrong weight or
the wrong type to play this or be this or achieve this. THEY WILL
TELL YOU NO, a thousand times no, until all the no's become
meaningless. All your life they will tell you no, quite firmly and
very quickly.
AND YOU WILL TELL THEM YES."

As a receptionist and as an HR person, please don't be one of the millions who stalk HR in a desperate hunt for a job.
I know what its like to be be job hungry, but don't harass those of us on the front lines.
And good luck...

RULES FOR MY BOSS
1. Never give me work in the morning. Always wait until 4:00 p.m. and then bring it to me. The challenge of a deadline is refreshing.

2. If it's really a rush job, run in and interrupt me every 10 minutes to inquire how it's going. That helps. Or even better, hover behind me, advising me at every keystroke.

My first love, Christopher Atkins...sigh.... :) The Pirate movie has finally come out on DVD! I've been trying to get a copy of the soundtrack for years, ever since I cruched my record as a kid (smashed it in the trunk of my mom's car).

I found this link: (unfortunately my computer has no sound capabilities, so I'll have to bookmark it for now)

And just purchased the DVD (chills run down my spine, so cheesy but so good!) (So far the best prices I've seen are on ebay, under $15)
